HCA- Blog 4My name is Gloria Liu. I just came here about one month ago, but I have finished two apprenticeships already. One was ‘How to Get Along with Others’ and the other one was ‘Handling the Ups and Downs in Life.’ These two apprenticeships were excellent.  After the apprenticeships, I got the idea of how to educate a person about this data, not only tell them, but also get them to read about it and understand the whole concept of it. For the ‘How to Get Along With Others’ apprenticeship, I helped a person to handle her relationship with another person.  I could see that she wanted to resolve her problem. After she handled it, she told me that this worked, and she felt happy about it.  It is always good to help another person, and to know they did well and are happy. For the ‘Handling the Ups and Downs in Life’ apprenticeship, I helped a person by indentifying what was the source of her stress.  The result came out that she was not stressed any more.  This was very good because she was working on the finance line and it was so important that she was not unduly stressed. I have concluded from these apprenticeships that you really need to go out and do it, and then you will know how the sequences are and how things can be done. Knowing the theory is not enough for one, application is the most important part.  That is the vital reason why we study.
