associate degreeI am Felipé Pedrosa, a Brazilian student from Manaus, on the associate degree program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA. I have been here for over a year.  I have done many courses that have provided me with many new tools that I can work with in my business. I just finished the course “How to Make Planning Become an Actuality” which instructs you on how to expand your company by successful planning and its implementation. The tools I have gained in this course are extremely necessary and fundamental for me as an executive in training to use. It is also important that my juniors and other executives use it as well. What are the tools one needs to make a well-planned expansion? What are the tools one needs to successfully coordinate the activities of a big project? These are questions that executives ask themselves. There are many different methods out there that show you how to accomplish such things—some work and some do not. In the “How to Make Planning Become an Actuality” course, the approach to getting plans out of our head is extremely scientific. There are specific steps that must be taken in order to make a plan become actuality. When followed correctly, the plan can become reality. Here is an example; I will be working in a supermarket chain in Brazil. In my company, as in other companies, the CEO, other executives, directors and managers sit together periodically to set new targets or quotas in order to make sure the company is going in the right direction.  Many meetings are conducted, many general ambitions voiced, but there are hardly any programs and projects created.  It takes programs and projects, which delineate the steps of action necessary to accomplish an objective, to make a plan happen. Turning plans into actuality is a problem that many companies around the world have.  Even when done, it is usually a slow process to get a plan to yield the expected results in the desired time frame.  Therefore, I am certain that there are some, if not many, companies that do have planning problems and do need proper tools to handle it rapidly. Furthermore, I can see that there are great brilliant minds all over the world in government, multinational companies, and other business leaders who have great plans or general ambitions.  However, it is just as evident that many of these people do not always get their plans accomplished as was intended.  To them, I would say, “The tools to overcome this major barrier do exist and the skills can be acquired.” In summary, turning planning into actuality is an issue that surrounds us everywhere, yet that does not mean that nothing can be done to handle it.  I can say that the knowledge I have gained from “How to Make Planning Become an Actuality” course has made a positive difference in my daily basis of operation as regards making plans come true. Hubbard College of Administration is a self-paced business school that offers an exceptional business administration curriculum, unique learning technology, life-changing apprenticeships and internships, assistance with job placement and a lifetime warranty for students.  I am currently on the “How to Make Planning Become an Actuality” apprenticeship.
