I recently completed my Executive Establishment Officer Mini Hat as part of Master Consultant Certificate for my career education. This position (Executive Establishment Officer) may be new to the business world. An Establishment Officer establishes the company so that it produces its products/services in quantity and at an acceptable level of quality.   In addition once established, the Executive Establishment Officer makes certain that the company stays established. How does the Executive Establishment Officer work with the CEO in creating a functional business? The Executive Establishment Officer puts the company there and the CEO runs it.  If there was no company, the CEO couldn’t produce.  If there were no CEO, then who would run the company?  Therefore, both roles are vital to a viable ongoing concern. What insight can be drawn from this model of Executive Establishment Officer -CEO?  We are in the midst of turbulent economic times.  Seen in a bigger perspective, “everyone knows” that businesses and economies have up and down cycles.  We have come to expect the boom (expansion) to bust (depression) cycle.  That being said, if a company, or a nation for that matter, has a good Establishment Officer then that company or nation would have much less roller coastering and would be less affected by the outside economy.  Why?  If a company is efficiently producing something of true social value in quantity and quality, then that company or nation will flourish and prosper almost irrespective of external conditions.  In other words, happy and satisfied customers will continue to do business with that company or nation.  It is the job of the Establishment Officer to make sure that the company or country is prepared to produce as needed.
