Associate Degree Program
Choosing a career that you love and can make good money doing, is part of our mission with the Associate of Applied Science Degree Program
Have you figured out what you want to do in life? For most people, choosing a career is based on the need to make money instead of fulfilling their dreams. They get into college and have to choose a career, their major, but haven’t had any real experience in their fields of interest. When they finally get to study their major, they often find it doesn’t hold their interest or have the appeal they expected. It’s just not fun.
Unfortunately, by the time they’ve figured out that what they thought they wanted to do doesn’t make them happy, they’ve already been in college for two or three years. So they decide to stick it out, get their degree, and get out into the workforce to make money and get on with their life.
Are they happy with the career they’ve chosen? Not usually. About 80% of the people who got a college education aren’t using what they learned, and people between the ages of 18 and 38 change jobs about 10 times.
If they’re lucky enough to get a job in a field they really do enjoy, it’s usually too late to go back to school and get the education they need to earn good money doing it. They already have a house, a car, a family to support and other expenses and they’re working 50 to 70 hours a week just to pay the bills.
Is that what you want for your future? No fun, no passion, no personal satisfaction? Not likely. But if you ask around, you’ll find that describes many people’s lives.
With the Hubbard College’s Applied Science Degree of Management and Administration, you can make your life into what you want it to be.
Our associate degree program is part theory, part practical. Every course you do also has an apprenticeship — done in a field of your choice. You can apprentice in several different fields until you find one that’s exciting and fulfilling. And when you find it, we’ll focus the rest of your program on becoming a well-paid expert.
No matter what your interests, this self-paced college degree program is designed to help you in choosing a career and excelling at what makes you happy. You’re not just earning credits — you’re developing real skills that can earn you an executive position right out of school. Or you can open your own business and be certain of your ability to make it a success.
In fact, we provide a lifetime warranty to ensure you will be successful. If you need help with any difficulty after you graduate, no matter how long ago for you that was, all you have to do is contact us. We’ll help you review the materials you learned so you can use it to solve the problem. We back up our students for life.
